The filled bag is put between the sealing bars, so that the evacuation pipe is inside the bag. By pressing the foot pedal, the automatic cycle starts. Air is exhausted, when the vacuum time or eventually the gas flushing time has elapsed, the bag is sealed automatically.
The KOPP Belt sealer MSP Plus for polyethylene makes endless seals or closes bags.

Significant and reproduceable measured values are very important for industrial packaging processes as well as for the development of new flexible packaging materials. Those values are gained in laboratories. The laboratory sealers of Kopp Verpackungssysteme have been designed especially for these tests (Hot-Tack and Cold-Tack).
The precision of these functions is determined by a high number of parameters. The parallelism of the sealing bars, the pressure of the sealing force coming linear from above and due to the exact definition and calibration of the sealing parameters: sealing time, sealing force and sealing temperature.
The parameter of sealer and sealstrength tester have to be verified by calibration.
